Can any of you folks tell me what type of disk redundancy is supported on the MAP 40?

Thanks

Maximum number of bays
available for optional hard
disks is one RAID Level 1

RAID The impact of disk failures is greatly reduced with the use of Redundant Array of Independent
Disks (RAID). RAID is a method of providing complete data redundancy using a minimum
amount of storage capacity for storing the information. RAID allows for greater disk capacity
per disk and mirroring of the information contained on the disks. Two forms of RAID are
available with Lucent Intuity Release 5.
n RAID level 1 is offered on the MAP/ 40P models. RAID level 1 provides a high level of
data availability through disk mirroring where a duplicate copy of the data from one
disk drive is copied and stored on another disk drive.

Is there a way I can tell if my system ie equipped with RAID via customer admin access?

To retrieve the RAID controller circuit card status:
1. Start at the Lucent Intuity Main Menu and select:
Customer/ Services Administration
Diagnostics
Disk Status/ Diagnostics

The system displays the RAID Controller Circuit Card Information Screen
