disjointed rollovers to the same slice

I'm trying to create a list of buttons where the user places their mouse over the area and a disjointed link changes a graphic in a certain area. Now I can get this to work with one button but when I try to get another button to produce a disjointed link in the same area it just either merges together or is not picked up at all.

Can anyone point me in the right dircetion or give me a suggestion?

Supposing you have a nav bar with five buttons.
I assume you have a common Area for the disjoint rollover to appear.

Do you have a Frame for each of the options on your navigation bar ?each frame containing the disjoint image you want to show on the exact same position as your common area?

If you do.Then the process should be pretty straight forward. Select the button or option (the slice on top actually) and right click, from there select "Add swap image behavior" select the slice and frame you want to change and it's done.
repeat as many times as you need for your options.
