Does anyone out there know how to track error logs that causes a disconnect live calls on 8410D phone? Or what possibly solution I can do for this kind of problem.
If you can simulate the call, do a "list trace station XXXX" and then place a call to the phone, or have the phone call out. Detail the error codes upon disconnect and post them. Maybe there's help out there.
Digital phones have more problems with interferance caused by fax machines or other electronic equipment nearby, or cables inducing voltage in the lines going to the terminal. Does other stations in the same area have the same problem.
I saw one station that started disconnected because a lady got a new wig with high static electricity, and another cuz the user moved his station to the other side of the desk right next to the copier. He moved it back and no more problems.
