Hello,

I recently had a C: drive crash on my SBS2003SP1 home-brew server. I learned that when a RAID 1 array crashes, replace the orphaned drive don't attempt to rebuild. Anyway my Exchange store (.priv, .stm & .pub),resides on the data array, which did not crash. When I recovered C: drive & System State with SBSbackup Exchange could not see its store.

During recovery, MS recommends NOT recovering Exchange Information Store because "all Exchange Server data is restored from the drive or drives from which it is installed"
yet I still have a problem. I am not fluent in Exchange cmd line, but will take a shot at anything to save a $135 visit from my local tech.

Never mind...SBSbackup restored all drives this time, and maintained the Exchange connection.
