Hi,

I provide tech support to a company who had a complete failure of their O/S drive. We had all the relevant backups and did a system state restore. However, the exchange mailboxes wont mount, when i try to do an exchange disaster recovery install i get the following message at the first page:

active directory has not replicated permission for deleted items folder

Help!!

Have you got EDB/STM files in the right location as you would expect?

If so what events are recorded when you try to mount the store?

Does the MSE Information Store Service actually start?

Mike

I discovered that the FSMO roles had to be seized back to the server for some reason, also there was a problem with dns. once these where done it worked.

Thanks for the reply
