I use office 2000. My toolbars in word disappears, what should i do. I opened my customize toolbars window and everything is disabled. I cant drag the toolbard in my word window. this happens if i use my user account. Other users can see their toolbars. what should i do. I tries uninstalling and installing office 2000 but nothing happens. Im using windows nt as an OS.

First, search for all instances of normal.dot and rename them.
If that doesn't fix it, then, there should be a folder a folder with your user profile. Usually, it is C:\Documents and Settings\<user id> where <user id> is your profile. If you rename this, shut down the computer and re-boot, chances are your problem will be fixed. You may then want to copy your favorites, My documents and any custom templates from the old profile to the new profile. "Age is a high price to pay for maturity."
