In inventor 8, every time text is inserted into a drawing, it disappears. Any suggestions?

Disappearing text in Inventor 8

Hi michaelstec,
Make sure your layers are visible and the font you're using is actually installed. Also, check your graphics card settings, I'm not familiar enough with 8 (I started on 10), Inventor will have certain settings it will like - check your documentation.
