disappearing/reappearing calendar items

Outlook 03 (cached exchange mode selected)
Administrative Assitant has access to bosses shared calendar. Boss has Palm Treo that uses ActiveSync to sync Outlook items.
Occaisionally calendar items will disappear. Rebooting the pc brings them back.
Any fixes out there?
