Disappearing Emails in OE6

Help!

My emails are disappearing before my very eyes.

Over the last couple of days I have received emails in my inbox, only for them to disappear later. They are not in the deleted items folder, and I am the only person using this PC. They are not in any other folder either.

I am baffled.

Have I got a virus?
