I need to keep a few users with windows 98 on an NT 4 network from browsing the internet. Also, they have to be able to send and recieve mail.. Is there a policy i can setup, or a way to block port 80? I need to know.. Or is there a way I can set up a group that is allowed to use internet and not add these users to the group?

If they have fixed IP addresses, you should be able to block them at the router.

If not, maybe you can put them in a specific range of addresses and block that range at the router.

StateSQLboy,

Are your mail servers on that NT4 box, or outside your network? If they're within your LAN, you could just set up your router so that the workstations can't route any traffic outside of the LAN.

If not, configure your router to allow traffic on mail ports (110, 25 for POP3 and SMTP) and deny traffic on HTTP ports (80 for HTTP, 443 for HTTPS).
