Can anyone help me. I would like to disable the preview pane button on the outlook view menu. Does anyone know how to do this

Thanks

Paul

launch Outlook, then View, click Preview Pane

Sorry braddds, but I think he means to disable the button all together. I suppose to avoid someone being able to preview HTML mail.
If you want to remove a button, right click the toolbar, select Customize, Commands an drag the button out of there.
But .. that will not disable the function, just 'hide' the button. It will still be available from the View Menu list. The solution is out there. [morning]

Run Outlook with the /Nopreview switch. See Microsoft Knowledge base articles 195712 or 197180 for more info.

Thanks for everyone's help on this one, used the /Nopreview switch as suggested by "beckas" and it worked great

Regards

Paul
