hello folks. Can anyone tell me how to permanently disable the script debugger in XP Professional(SP1)please? I keep ticking the box in tools-internet options-advanced, but it reactivates it each time I log on. I can't see anything in msconfig startup which points to it, nor in administrative-tools-services, and am stumped. I would uninstall the little beastie if I knew where it was hiding.

Thanks Gracie:)

On my PC with XP SP1, the following registry entry gets changed:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main "Disable Script Debugger"

The value data is either yes or no (lowercase)

ah, thanks old bean - I will go see what regedit has to say toot sweet
