Is there a way to disable the machine from it asking to restart my PC after updates have automatically been updated. I really want to hit the monitor by the end of the day if it updated in the morning after telling it no I do not want to restart all day. I have SP2.

I dont think you can. You can make it so the computer wont autmatically reboot and I also think you can change the time between reminders but thats about it. Go to start, run and then gpedit.msc and look through the settings under Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Windows Updates.

You could look at this from the linked article.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU

Value name: NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers
Value data: Reg_DWORD: 0 (false) or 1 (true). If set to 1, Automatic Updates does not automatically restart a computer while users are logged on.
Registry Value Type: Reg_DWORD

You could also schedule Updates to download but to let you choose when to install them.
