i cant figure this out, one of our pdc's keeps disabling computer accounts and wont let you log back in unless you disconnect and rejoin the network, any help is appreciated.

how often does this happen? Do you have time synchronized in your domain properly?

a couple times a day. i belive the times are synced properly, what would you suggest?

Does your antivirus auto disable accounts / quarantine if it finds a virus ?

it quarantines but doesnt disable accounts, i think it maybe a replication issue, do i have to replicate 2 2000 dc by ip or smtp.

Your repliation link shouldn't make a difference (but it's Microsoft, so who really knows?!). Do you know which DC is causing you the headaches? If so, let's start w/ the event logs on that server - try to see what sticks out there and post any errors.

problem fixed, who would of thought, their was a wrong dns entry made for one of the two dc's and caused them not to replicate because the one dc couldn't connect to the other, fixed the error and no problems. boy oh boy.

thanks
