Disable Handsfree on T7316?

Request from client to turn off one particullarly loud saleman's ability to use speaker phone. I set Handsfree to None and HF answerback to N, but the handsfree feature still works.

Can the speaker phone feature not be disabled on the T7316? Or am I having a "brain fart" in my understanding on the programming?

is the phone a t7316 or t7316e

It's the T7316. I can also swap in a T7316E.

you should just go under capabilities and chg hf to n.You will still hear dialtone when you press the intercom/handsfree key with hf set to n, but the spkr phone is disabled. When you chg this press feature * 0 intercom on the t7316 to verify that hf is no longer there.

The phones speaker still works even if HF is disabled.So he can still dial numbers hear the ringing thru the speaker but will have to pick up the Handset to talk.

Turning off handsfree only turns off the Mic so you can't talk, but you can still listen on the speaker.

Thanks all. So it was a "brain fart" in that it was working, just not the way I expected. I was testing by just calling the time recording and I could hear her just fine.
