I would like to change the gateway address of my two CLANs. I go to change ip-interface xxxx to enter the new gateway address, but I get following message: "Must disable ip-interface before changing attributes". I don't find a disable, enable ip-interface command, so my question is: how do I disable/enable ip-interface?
8700, CM3.0

Do a change ip-interface xxxx. On that screen there is a field enable: Y set it to N and save. Now go back into the board and make the changes you need and set the enable field to Y. Save it and your done.

Thanks.
Do you mean to set the Enable Ethernet Port: y to n?
And then go to change ip-interface xxxx ,do my changes and then set it back to y.
Is it going to be out of service while it is set to n?

Yes that is the field. You must set it to n and then save it. Then you can go back into the board and make the changes you want and re-enable it and then save it. While it is disables it will be out of service and anything that depends on it will not function.
