Disable e-mail "link"

I have a field for e-mail addresses on Pdox 9. Everytime I click on the field the e-mail program pops up as though I want to send an e-mail message. It's a pain.
How can I turn it off?

Under Tools | Settings | Preferences, select the option that disables hyperlinks.

Please note that Paradox only "launches" hyperlinks when you're viewing data, rather than editing it. So, an alternate workaround would be to make sure your form is always in Edit mode.
