disable device drivers xp pro

is there a way to disable unsiged device drivers during xp pro setup? The reason i ask this is because i am having trouble installing xp because it gets to the audio hardware and just stops with the BSOD and stop: 0x0000007e message. any help would be appreciated guys. TIA

Have you tried to disable the Sound in the BIOS?

as I don't know a way to stop Driver Installs other than not having the Hardware active...

what are your system specs? does your system meet minimum XP standards and hardware support?

hi. i cannot disable in bios because it is laptop so there is no option. i need to an option to nit install unsigned devices. i know corp vlk edition has this option, but cannot find in pro.

Are you upgrading from another Operating system?

Have you tried a clean install and format rather than an upgrade install, if this is what you are doing?
