Hi all,
I have a strange req from our users. They want to disable the cells in the full client report so that they cannot edit them.Is there any way to achieve this.

thanks

I don't think so.

The reality is that reports are local to the users machine, so they can do whatever they want. As long as you don't let them publish back to the repository, it really shouldn't matter.

I remember that with version 4.1 we disabled the save option for all regular users. This was in an laboratory environment to avoid users stuffing their disks with older versions of their to-do-lists. I wonder what happens if you disable document interaction in supervisor?

Hi Blom,

that's quite interesting.
But how did u block the save option ?

Thanks

In supervisor you can manually change all sorts of settings.
One of the settings (choose tab configurations, right-click on the module business objects and select properties) is in the documents folder:

'Save documents' The status is default 'inherit' If you set this to 'disabled' documents can no longer be saved locally...

(Well, at least it worked that way in version 4.1.x)
