Hi all,

I am trying to get Medal of Honour working on a system. It has the following specs...

Pentium III 500Mhz
128mb RAM
Nvidia Riva TNT2 16mb
Win98

I have installed all the latest Nvidia drivers, and installed DirectX 8.0. When I go to run "dxdiag.exe" to tweak the settings, nothing happens...it just hangs.

Has anyone seen this behaviour before??

Maybe you need a computer Upgrade. I would upgrade everything.

Seriously, a PIII 500 is getting kind of old. These computer games may require newer equipment.

What kind of specs does the game require?

If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.

The min. requirements of the game are the following

Pentium II 450Mhz
128 mb RAM
16MB Video card with OpenGL
win9X/ME/2000

The computer should be fast enough to run this game...the problem seems to be with DirectX not the PC.

Definitely upgrade then, you are like right there on the edge of pushing your CPU to its limits. You might wanna get some more RAM also or you are going to get skips as the game is playing, a result of trying to free up more RAM and keep playing at the same time. And Windows by far is not the best when it comes to memory management.

Computers are like an array of randoms, ya never know what ya gonna get!!!

Why not try updating Directx. The current version is 9.0b.
