Ok, here's a real strange one, I am trying to add a name of PJ Dick to a station. I do that and all is well. But, cannot look up the name in the directory. There are no spaces, no commas, nothing in front. It just won't recognize the name when do a dial by name in the directory. Even if I go to "P" and hit next it won't show the name. So, I went in and changed the station name to Smartphone just for something different, and it shows up. Is there something with the letter combination of PJ that will not allow it to show? I've tried pretty much all that I can think of.

Search for "dick" not PJ. The directory feature will key off of the last name. Doesn't matter how you type it but it is allways the last name

Example John Doe or Doe, John. It will key off of Doe.

I tried that too. No good. It seems like it's the combination of letters for some reason. even if I put it in under Dick Corporation, it won't display, but if I change it to anything else, no problem.

I think that the space is throwing you off. Try changing the name to [tt]PJDick[/tt] (without any spaces).

I've seen some special characters "hide" a name as well. I know that these characters do it ()[]{}.

Hope this helps

1a2 to ip I seen it all

Works for me. I added a station with name "PJ Dick" I pressed directory and typed dick and there it was.

I've done all that was suggested already, PJDick, DICKPJ, DICK CORPORATION. I thought for sure it was the word because of the context, but I tried some other words and they show up with no problem.
