Greetings,

We have a new ML310 G4 Storage Server running Server 2003. It replaced and older one running server 2000.

We are running Veritas 10.0 on another ProLiant ML310 G4 server wich is running Server 2003 with an Ultrium tape drive.

The remote agent is installed on the Storage server, and the system state and shadow copy components are all backed up to tape just fine.

Veritas will browse the data drive on the Storage Server and select files to back up. After setting up the selections list, the job passes the credentials check and the test run of the job is successful.

However when attempting to actually back up the data, the job fails with the following error:

Network control connection is established between 10.16.96.26:1070 <--> 10.16.96.28:10000
Network data connection is established between 10.16.96.26:1106 <--> 10.16.96.28:4424
Directory was not found, or could not be accessed.
None of the files or subdirectories contained within will be backed up.

All the run-of-the-mill Server 2003 servers back up just fine.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to resolve this would be most welcome.
