We have 3 windows 2000 servers that due to what is a unique(not) situation would need to be restored while a double take server using primary servers machine name and ip address is up and running. Does anyone know of a product that could do backups and allow directed restores other than the win 2000 backup program. Open file management would be helpful also

Thanks

Well, Open file Manager for non-specific files and the Networker Modules for specific suites (e.g. Exchange/SQL/Oracle....) handle the open file part.
Directed recovery of data is there in Networker.
You would not be able to do a full system restore while the original is up and on the lan, but you can't in w2K backup either.
