Does the digital trunk card that houses the music route need to be in the main cabinet? Can it be in a fiber remote cabinet and still work? I need to free up a slot in the main cabinet for a digital line card and wanted to see if I can disable the trunk card and hot swap them out.

Also, can an ITG card be moved to a remote cabinet as well?

Thanks

yes, the trunk card can be moved, and it should work just fine, I would look up the req's for the ITG card, but it should be okay as well. Remember that in software, you'll have to move the ports also!

Also keep in mind your music source will also need to be located at that remote cabinet.
