Digital Sets Flashing .... Succession Rls 4.00T

Hi All,

We have recently upgraded our Option 61C Rls 23 (CP3) systems to Succession Rls 4. After upgrade we are having a some problem in Digital sets (2616 & 3904). We have observed screen flashing when making outgoing call (internal and external, both).Sets diplay flashes for a moment and name and number disappears and comes back. We have uploaded all the Deplist Patches but problem is still there....

Any clue to diagnose or solve this problem???

3900 sets may be firmware related, i am betting you need a patch that is not in general rls.. i would check with nortel. a rule a live by, if i can't program a set to do that, it's either corruption or a patch.. 99 percent

Ok, lets see what nortel replies you. In the mean time should I try to update the FW of sets? but how I can do that? Is it in LD32 with FDLC and FDLF command?

You can FDLF to TN or configure LD 97 FDL block to automatize a system wide firmware upgrade. To start it LD 32 FDLS

Here is a document I made up.

This is an example of a scheduled download of (5) 3904 sets with TN’s of 52-0-11-0 through 52-0-11-4.
One interval is scheduled to take place on Thursday at 3:00am for a maximum time of 2 hours

n= (0-4) Number of intervals where 0= no download for that day
note: If two or more intervals are specified, they must be non overlapping,
non consecutive and in increasing order.
FDAY is re-prompted until <cr> is entered.

FINT 3 2 – FINT s l Starting hour and length for a time interval.
s= (0-23) Starting hour using 24 hour format
l= (1-24) Length of interval in hours
FINT is prompted n times if Number of Intervals is > 0

FDAY <cr> -- FDAY is re-prompted until <cr> is entered.

FTNR yes – Say yes to download to specific range of TNs, Do not say no to this or all 3904’s will download

FSTN 52 0 11 0 – Loop, Card, Shelf, Unit Starting terminal number for download

FETN 52 0 11 4 – Loop, Card, Shelf, Unit Ending terminal number for download

FDNR no – enter no because we don’t want to select specific DN’s for download.

FRCE yes – Say yes to force the download regardless of the 3904’s current flash firmware version.
