I have a customer with a service blbg in the front of their lot that is pretrudes into their lot about 150' and the lot is 400 x 400 . they would like coverage for the intire lot for 2 cordless phones . does anyone have experience with the DMC design and range ?
thanks,

from inside the bldg 2 base stations and no repeaters or antanae should provide coverage for the intire area ?? what is the typical distance before bldgs (metal walls etc get in the way)???

Other posters will have the specs right out of the book. I'm going on experience. I have a tile business with an open area the size of yours, with Base stations inside in cieling on either end of bldg. with coverage everywhere.

if i remember correctly...they are supposed to have a 1000' range on them...keep in mind that this is if they are in a wide open space...

A whip antenna would be the best assurance for the lot, but last I knew there wasn't one available, though they did have one for the companion.

Sad thing, too. We've got a car dealership that really wants to get rid of their companion, but a whip for the DMC is the only thing holding them back.
