What is the difference in VIRUS and WORM?

Any body?

a virus infects executables (changes code inside the executable),
a worm uses code to
- delete/Change files on the system
- redistribute itself

Viruses tend to infect files on a single computer and rely on humans to spread them - by sharing floppy disks or emailing infected files for example.

Worms can propagate themselves to other computers across networks with little or no human intervention, for example through email (eg loveletter) or http (codered).

Any of the major Antivirus websites can give you detailed explanations on the above.
