Can someone explain to me the difference in the two. What I am trying to accomplish is I have a Program that we run now that is changing to SQL, and will run off of MSDE, but I currently have Veritas running off of MSDE on my server. From what I understand MSDE can only handle one app is this correct??? I don't know a lot about MSDE OR SQL, just know that I want to run NAI EPO, Veritas, and my new program. My question is do I need to upgrade to SQL Server to be able to accomplish this, or will MSDE do this. thanks in advance :)

MSDE should do. It supports up to 5 simultanious connections from different users. and 2GB of data.

Allthough I think you are in the wrong forum.

You know you should be careful. This site is run from the USA, and they don't understand saracasm too well ! (I take it you were being sarcastic ????!).

BTW, you are in the wrong forum - there is a major difference between "SQL Server 2000" and "Windows Server 2000". One is a database, and the other is an operating system.

Try to be nice in the furture please :)
