Difference between WhatsThisHelpID and HelpContextID?

Hi all,

I understand what HelpContextID can do, etc., and also WhatsThisHelpID. But can they have the same ID number? I mean can they open the same topic in mu chm help file?
Or is WhatsThisHelpID only for popup messages?

Hello Gabster.
If I am missing your point I apologize.
There are two very good FAQs for Help. If you go to the main window for this forum (VB 5&6) you will see a tabs on the header for several things - one of those things is the FAQ area. Regulars to this area have taken the time to write these up and some are very, very good.
In your case, scroll down to item #10. There are two FAQs for 'Help' there and they have links that may further assist you.
Hope this has been a lead!

As I have said, some of them are very, very good, but in general, a big 'Thanks' from me goes out to the authors for taking the time - they didn't have to provide this info for everyone and I think that it's a great feature! (Oh! And don't forget to rate them when you're finished reading them.)
