difference between Runtime Config and Running Config 1

There are two configurations: startup and running. The startup config is the one saved to NVRAM, and which will be loaded at the next reboot. The running config is the one in RAM that is currently executing.
When you enter a command, it goes into effect immediately in the running config. It doesn't get into the startup config until you execute "write memory".
That said, I don't know what terminology your management software is using.
