Difference between mkfs and crfs

Hi,
What is the difference between mkfs and crfs commands.

why not do a man on mkfs and crfs

To me it looks like the mkfs command is there just for BSD compatability. When you want to create a filesystem on AIX you use the crfs command. I have never used the mkfs command.
