Please would someone kindly explain some of the differences between the Data Types of Decimal and Numeric.

Currently, I am not aware of any differences!
 
It is the same, from BOL
decimal and numeric

decimal

Fixed precision and scale numeric data from -10^38 +1 through 10^38 –1.

numeric

Functionally equivalent to decimal.
