Just installed an IP412 with 2pri T'1s. The local T has DID comming over. The president wants to have a second DID # ring to his ext but on a seperate button (not his own ext appearance). Any thoughts on how to do this?
Thanks

Why not have two groups both with this extn in it and then the two DDI's going to each prospective group. He will then be able to see when his phone rings (2030/2050/64 series who the call is for. He can also see this in one of the desktop applications as well.

If he requires presentation on a button of both lines then you can create a button with the group name for his general number and one for his private line. When a call comes in for either each button will illuminate accourdingly.

Thanks for the reply. Can you expand on the type of button I would create for this calling group? His 1st assigned DID going to his ext he is fine with. The second DID is the one he would like to ring to a seperate button. I can point the 2nd DID number to a calling group but how would I program it to ring on a button on his phone?
