DID going to Hunt Group 1

I have recently made some changes to our phone system and created a hunt group for our Marketing department. The hunt group seems to be working fine from the CCR tree as it should, however now when I call a particular DID whose internal extention has (should not have) nothing to do with the Hunt group, the call for some reason is routed through the hunt group. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Double check to make sure that the target line associated with that DID isn't assigned to the hunt group itself. Then call the number, go to the phone where it's ringing and do a feature *0 and see what button it is coming in on. This will tell you if it is actually coming into the hunt group or not. MRoberts

I did F*0 and found that it is a regular intercom line. I also double checked to make sure that the extention is not in the hunt group. I am not sure exactly what you mean by checking the target line. Perhaps you can clarify?

Well, you said that the call comes in on a DID. DID lines come in over T-1s. That's what you have, right?

In that case, you would have a target line with the digits that telco is sending you assigned to it. Then the target line is assigned to whatever you want to ring. Phone, hunt group, whatver.

We need to find out what the target line number is for that DID line.

Go into programming Feature * * 266344, 266 344

Terminals&Sets - press the upper right button on your phone that has lit up.
Show set: _ enter the extension number that has the DID assigned to it.
223:223 - Press the upper right button that has lit up on your phone.
Line access - Press the upper right button
Line assignment - Press the upper right button
Show line: ___ - Press the scan button that shows up in your display.

Tell us what line it displays, also make note of how it is assigned: Appr&Rng or Appr only or Ring only. Then continue to press scan and write down all the lines that it says are assigned. The purpose is to find out everything that is assigned to this phone. MRoberts

Aha! I see where you are going with this. I have solved the problem. It was exactly what you said. The line was in the hunt group. I deleted that and all is working! Thanks for the help. This is a great forum!
