Dialup Connection problems

I cannot add a dialup connection through Internet Explorer. Nor can I see the one I have done through the control panel. Everytime I go to add a connection it says it is not installed then when I say to install it comes up and says do I want to cancel the installation. It keeps going in a viscious circle until I just cancel everything.

Any Ideas what the problem may be?
Any help would certainly be appreciated.

This sounds weird. If memory serves, in ME, the dial up networking applet is in start>settings. This is where you want to best create a new connectoid (yes, this is a real word).

If it still fails, reinstall dial up networking. Go to control panel, add/remove programs, windows setup, go to communications, uncheck dial up netorking. Reboot, put the check back, reboot again.

Thanks for the help but there is nothing listed in the Windows Setup tab. I have no idea where else they would be either. MAN I HATE WINDOWS ME
