Have an IPO in BASIC mode that uses a system password to set Night Service. They also have a number of extensions in the Night Service Group. In order to make an external call from an extension in the Night Service Group you are required to enter the system password. Unfortunately there are no instructions on HOW to enter the system password before you can make an outbound call. Entering the system password before you dial an external number - just gives you a wave off. If you start dialing an external number first - you get a wave off. I assume you have to press Feature xx and then enter the system password - but there is no information on what code to use. Avaya Pre-Sales did not have the answer - but are researching it. Does anyone know the correct sequence to use to make an outbound call when you are in Night Service mode and your extension is a member of the Night Service Group? Any help would be appreciated. I posted this on the IPO BASIC mode forum - but it does not appear to be used by many people.
