I have a IP Office 406v2, 4.0 with VMPRO. I have a menu setup in VMPro that has prompts 1-9 setup to transfer to extensions. My question would be, if I prompt a caller "if you know you parties ext. please dial it know", can I set up a prompt for example {2??)?

I have it set now that if the caller dials # and then 203 it then rings ext. 203. But the caller has to dial # first. I want to make it so that off of the main menu they can just dial the ext. number.

I tried to setup 2?? on the main menu but when I dial 203 it transfers to what I have 2 on the main menu programmed as.

Am I making sense?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Thanks

The problem is that you have "2" and "2??" in the menu. You have to delete the "2" or it will always take precedence over the "2??

you could do:

1---XFR
Menu 2------------Menu 0?----XFR 20?
Time/Out----Original Option 2 Destination

Taker that is waht is do in the situation as well,

2---Menu
TImeout----original
??------transfer 2$KEY

Thanks guys for your help. This is how it looked when I was done.

Timeout(2 seconds)------>Transfer to Ext. 3500
3-->Menu
???------>Transfer 3$KEY

Works like a charm!
