Dialing a new exchange 1

The local telephone added a new exchange to our ares. However, when trying to dial a number with this new exchange on our definity system we get a recorded error message that states "It is not necessary to dial a long distance company access code for the number you have dialed.
" Can any one give me some help where I can add the exchange to our system

Look at your ars ana tables type CH ARS ANA XX xx= new area code. the follow the path of the call to see if it is being sent to the right trunk group or if it's being routed at all. Wisdom is Knowledge
