I have two users (both using W2K PC's) that dial-up to our Radius Server to access Citrix. Both user's use iPass for the dial-up and they both use the same version of the ICA Client (hundreds of other user's also use the same versions without any problems).

The problem is that everytime the users try to establish a connection in ICA, their dial-up connection is dropped every time.

Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.

Thank you,

Does the Citrix server have RAS installed? RAS and ICA Dialup do not work together.

Have you implemented ICAKeepAlive settings? These are outlined in the Citrix Knowledge Base.

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

We had a similar problem and I followed Citrix's instructions for timeout enable and as a rule it has worked, however two of our users' ISPs have 20 minute timeouts, so if they're idle for 20 mins plus, they will be disconnected.

I had a customer that has some users that dialed into their server, they were able to come online, check their email etc but as soon as they mapped a network drive, the connection was dropped...

Well this was actually the local machines MODEM DRIVER.

So i say to you, before you try the hardest first (as i did in this case) try the simple things on the client machines.
