Dial Up Networking

After creating a new Dial-up to private network connection using dialing rules and creating this connection for all users the icon seems to go away. The amount of time that it takes to go away varies but the result is the same. If I create a connection Only For Myself it seems to stay.

It doesn't matter if a domain admin sets up the connection or not.

Any ideas?

We are running W2K Pro on the desktop and W2K Server for all servers.
