Hello!

I have created a Dial Up Network Connection and placed a shortcut to it on the desktop. I am trying to open the dialup window from a .bat file, but I am unable to reference the location. When I do ...desktop...file.lnk, it doesn't open. How can I reference directly to that dialup window in the network connections folder?

Thank you!!!
LJA

Right-Click the link, go to properties. Take whatever is in the target line and use that in your batch file.

Good luck!

Thank you vanvb for your quick response, but I have done that and all it says for Properties is

shortcut tab says,
Target type: {BA.....-....-.-...}
Target Location: Network Connections
Target: {BA.....-....-.-...}

general tab says,
type of file: shortcut
description: test
location: c:\documents and settings\username\desktop

and if i try to run from the command prompt or a .bat file and do the shortcut path with c:\......\desktop\test.lnk it doesn't work.

Any other ideas??
Thank you!
