Dial Up Modem

Is there anyway to stop a dial up modem from disconnecting when another phone call comes in. I would perfer the connection to stay active and to just miss the call. My other modem used to do this but I have no idea how it was configured.

Look in the front of your telephone directory. It involves disabling call waiting by inserting something like *71 in the dialer string.

Exactly. Disabling Call Waiting is the only way to solve your problem.
