I've always wanted to be able to set up diagonal guides in illust. (like the ones you pull from the rulers)

Instead, I just have to dram them and lock them in another layer.

Is there a diagonal guide feature????

OK. So pull all your guides out from the ruler. Then (with 'lock guides' DESELECTED) you select all your guides and use the usual Transform>Rotate function to create your 'diagonal' guides.

Thanks!

Thats really easy - why didn't I think of that?

I also found that you can apply free distort, punk and bloat etc to the guides.

Do you have any idea how one might actually make use of curved guides?
