Hello all,

I have a LAN with about 200 computers (192.168.10.0/24) with a DHCP Server on Windows server 2003.
The problem is that my company have acquired 100 others computers that I have connected on this network.
Some computer does not get IP address from the DHCP server. When I investigated the log of the DHCP server, I realized that the DHCP server was out of addresses.
I don't know what is the best solution for this situation. Can you help me please?

Thanks in advance for your time

Well, you could have several options at your disposal depending on what hardware you have. If you have a layer 3 switch (one that does routing), then you can create additional VLAN(s) and segment your network. Each VLAN would be in it's own subnet and the L3 switch would allow those subnets to talk to one another.
Your other option would be to change your subnet mask on your existing network to say a /23 or a /22 network. So with a /23, you would have one network that would extend from 192.168.10.1 - 192.168.11.254 (host range)
Using a /22, your network would be from 192.168.8.1 - 192.168.11.254 (host range)
The more hosts you have on a subnet, the more "chatty" the network will be. The technical term is called a broadcast domain and based on your posting, I feel a /23 subnet would do you if you didn't have a layer 3 switch. If you do go this route, be mindfull that you will need to change all of your server/devices addressing to the new mask. DHCP will do most of that for you, but your static devices like your server, maybe printers, etc... will also need that change reflected.

Hope that helps.
