HI, I have just added a Sonicwall Gateway/VPN to my network in favour of my current dual NIC win2003 server running ISA. Should the defualt gateway sent out my win2003 be the ip of the gateway/vpn or the win2003 server that will then forward it on?

At the moment it is as follows;

Sonicwall vpn/GW 192.168.100.1
2003 server 192.168.100.2

the DHCP is running on my win2003 server that sends out the defualt gateway as being 192.168.100.1

I have the gateway of the DMZ network (outside) hard coded on the adapter. The internal network uses a routing table. An important note: microsoft does not support running in Firewall or integrated mode on a single NIC. They do support cache mode using a single NIC...

Sorry... read the question wrong, looks like you are replacing ISA.

Use the 100.1 address as your gateway for all clients, including the server.

got it thanks, it works fine. I got confused there for a while.
