Hello,

I have setup my windows 2000 server as a DHCP server for a small lan i have (three pcs). the windows xp machine have no problems and work fine. however the 98 machine doesnt find the dhcp server at all. using ipconfig /renew_all gives the error message "Cannot find DHCP server".

Also in windows 2000 using the dhcp console there is a blue explination mark over my server name - what does this indicate?

Thanks in advance.

Thats great thanks, turns out it was my mistake in configuring the scope - thanks.
