DHCP database errors

My primary domain controller is running Windows Server 2003. This machine is running DNS, Active Directory and DHCP.

When the machine runs the DHCP database cleanup at night, I get the following error message in the system log...

The DHCP service encountered the following error while cleaning up the database:
An error occurred while accessing the DHCP database. Look at the DHCP server event log for more information on this error.

My first question is, where is the DHCP server event log? Secondly, in the Microsoft knowledge base it says to "Verify that the path of the DHCP server database is valid," how do I do that?
I have already run the jetpack.exe utility and everything went fine.

If anyone could shed some light on this for me I would very much appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Greg.

Thank you very much for the helpful links.
It turns out that my problem was very simple, I wasn't stopping the DHCP service before backing it up.
Sometimes it's the little things we forget that really screw us up.

Thanks again.
