Ok we have one DHCP scope covering 120 IP's. I have set the dafault gateway to .254 but would also like to set another GW at .1, so if .254 goes down all DHCP configured machines jump to the .1 GW. Can this be done using one scope? - in effect load balance the GW's.

Advice would be very much appreciated. Thanx

You can add a second router to the 003 Router option, but they are assigned a preference.

Thats exactly what I have done but when I dissed the first router the clients didn't jump to the second router. I really need to point 50% of the users to one GW and the others to the other GW. I also want to use the same subnet to do this but I guess it's not possible??

Are you sure the client have both IPs listed as default gateways? Post output of the following commands for analysis:

ipconfig /all
netstat -r
