Hi ,
Trying to setup the DFS on 2 servers (eServer1 and eServer2)
for instance I have eServer1 folders:
C:\WORD and C:\EXCEL for example
and on the other server (eServer2) I want to replicate to
E:\SHARE\WORD and E:\SHARE\Excel
What I have done so far is created a DFS domain root with the main server as the host and called it SHARE (which has created a share folder on the main server called SHARE)
What do I put in the root replica - I currently have eserver1/Share (do I need to add the other root eserver2/Share and then setup replication?)
Now how do I add a dfs link for the Word and Excel folders below this?
Basically I want to have it so that \\eServer1\Word will point to \\eServer2\SHARE\Word if not available etc
Any help would be great!
Thanks
Simon
