DFS is not replicated every file, any ideas???

I setup DFS on both of my Domain Controllers. It is set to replicated one shared directory, with many subdirectories. However, it fails to replicated every file. In about 3 or 4 directories, there is one file that did not get replicated. Any idea's why this would happen??

Nothing in my log files, but I came to the conclusion that these files that did not replicate (12 files to be exact), were open by users. Its been a few days since these files were closed by the users, and it still hasn't replicated. I have it set on automatic replication.

Why wouldn't it replicate during the next cycle with FRS???

I also found out that all of my .bak & .tmp files were not replicated. How dumb is that???

Anyone have any ideas?

OK, call me stupid, I found a filter that filtered out .bak & .tmp files. But I still don't know about the open files??
